Alaska's Deadliest Catch Crab Boat Tour
Climb aboard the SEA STAR and tour the world of Alaska's toughest men. You have seen it on television, now you can see it in person. Climb the ladder to the wheelhouse. Walk the deck where fortunes were made, where strong men were reduced to tears, where men struggled beyond exhaustion to stay alive; where not all succeeded in that struggle. Tours led by the cast and crew of the Deadliest Catch. Open all days of the show. After over 30 years of battling the treacherous waters of the North Pacific and Bering Sea, this tough little ship invites you to share in its rich history. A star of the Discovery Channels "Deadliest Catch" series, the SEA STAR offers a unique up-close view into an occupation regarded as the deadliest in the country — where the toughest of men are culled from hundreds of "one-trip wannabes". Each participant will also take home Boating Safety Side Kicks a fun water safety informational coloring book by the National Safe Boating Council and Children's Hospital's Stay on top of It booklet along with ample crayons courtesy of Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. Research indicates that many kids aged 8 to 12 admit they never wear a life jacket when riding on a personal watercraft (50 percent), participating in water sports (37 percent), or on a boat (16 percent)*. The first 300 kids attending the show will have the opportunity to be properly fitted with their own PFD (Personal Floatation Device or PFD). Visit the Children's Water Safety booth located on the NW side of Chandler's Crab House for your FREE PFD. Remember—PFDs are cool!

At the Lake Union Boats Afloat Show, you will discover everything from new boats and accessories for sale, to hands-on seminars that address a wealth of topics, to a free demonstration ride at the Discover Sailing dock.
Many people may wonder about the limitations of cooking on board their vessel or they may wonder where to gather the freshest ingredients around the Puget Sound. Our local experts are here to help. Schwartz Brothers restaurant chefs will demonstrate the art of cooking — galley style. Discover the world of possibilities in Northwest cuisine and local fare on Saturday the 13th and Sunday the 14th. Location for this event will be in front of Chandlers Crab House Restaurant. Shows are at 1pm and 3pm.
