Kick for a boat at Qwest Field
Seattle Boat Show ‘Kick It and Pick It’ promtion offers chance to take home a $25,000 boat
SEATTLE, Jan. 10, 2008 – Many football fans have often dreamed about what it feels like to be staring at the goal posts and setting up to make that winning kick. Now they can have that experience. The 2008 Seattle Boat Show (January 24 – February 2), the largest boat show on the West Coast, is so big that it’s pushing out onto the football turf where the NFL’s Seattle Seahawks play. This expansion provides an additional 100,000 square feet of boat displays and show attractions. It is also the first time in Qwest Field’s history that a consumer show has expanded onto the football field and offers show goers the unprecedented and thrilling experience of being able to walk out onto the turf. As part of the expansion, one of the major promotions is ‘Kick It and Pick It.’
With ‘Kick It and Pick It’ the public can test their skills and see how they stack up compared to Josh Brown (Seattle Seahawks kicker). Anyone who kicks a field goal will be entered to win one of 12 boats and a $1,000 shopping spree at Boaters World. Value: $25,000 boat, motor, trailer and $1,000 Boaters World Gift Certificate. In 2003 Josh Brown set a franchise record with a 58-yard field goal at Green Bay. He is also the only kicker in Seahawk club history to make two field goals of 50 or more yards in the same game twice in a season. Seattle Boat Show Kick It and Pick It contestants don’t need to worry about beating Josh’s records. The Kick It and Pick It promotion will be set up at the 10 yard line, the same distance as a point after touchdown (PAT).
