JAN VAN GENT is a gaff rigged schooner designed by Daniel Bombigher and built in Cherborg, France. Bombigher made a name for himself designing vessels that reflected traditional qualities without shying away from modern construction techniques and equipment that improved the sailing experience. As a result, her present owners completed a circumnavigation with nearly all sailing done with a crew of only two – and they report that she is an extremely comfortable, seakindly and stable cruising platform.
